- Veterinary Student Externship
Description
Come learn from a team dedicated to advancing the health and welfare of one of the world's most extraordinary equids - DONKEYS! Help us care for over 200 rescued donkeys while building skills that will make a lasting impact on your veterinary career—and on the future of donkey medicine.
Interested veterinary students are invited to come to either of our veterinary facilities (California and/or Texas) for 1-4 week externships. There, students will work alongside experienced veterinarians in a supportive, teaching-focused environment while learning the unique physiology, behavior, and management of one of the most misunderstood species in the equine world.
Apply by completing form available on website.
No donkey experience? No problem. Bring your curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
